ယောက်ဖ မက္ကလာ၊ မဆောင်းသာ။ [jauʔ pʰa̰ meʔ kə là, mə sʰauŋs θà] • Brother-in-law's hat is not comfortable to wear.

တောမှာပေါက်ဖက်၊ ဟိပါယက်။ [tɔ́ m̥à pauʔ peʔ, hḭ pà jeʔ] • Yet, the wild broad leaves are available in the forest.

💤 ရင်ခွင်သိပ်ကေ အိပ်ပါမေ

အသူသိပ်ကေ အိပ်ပါမေ၊ အီးယေသိပ်ကေ၊ အိပ်ပါမေ။ [əθù θeiʔ kè eiʔ pà mè, í jè θeiʔ kè, eiʔ pà mè] • Whoever lulls me, I will sleep. If mother lulls, I will sleep.

အီးယေရင်ခွင်၊ နို့သက်ငင်၊ နို့သျှင်သားပု၊ မိမျက်ရှု။ [í jè jɪ̀ɴ ɡwɪ̀ɴ, no̰ θeʔ ŋɪ̀ɴ, no̰ θjɪ̀ɴ θás pṵ, mḭ mjeʔ jwṵ] • In mother's bosom, breast milk flows for her little beloved son.

ပုလုပုလွေ၊ အိပ်လတ်တေ၊ ဘားဘာရောက်ကေ မုန့်ပါမေ။ [pṵ lṵ pṵ lwè, eiʔ laʔ tè, bà bà jauʔ kè mo̰ɴ pà mè] • Soundly and peacefully sleeping, when father arrives, there will be snacks.

အပုချေ ရင်ခွင်အိပ်ကေ၊ မေသိပ်မေလေ၊ မေသိပ်မေ။ [əpṵ tɕʰè jɪ̀ɴ ɡwɪ̀ɴ eiʔ kè, mè θeiʔ mè lè, mè θeiʔ mè] • If the little baby sleeps in the bosom, mother will rock you to sleep.
